SFPE Eastern Kentucky University Student Chapter Receives Charter


On February 19, 2009 the Society of Fire Protection Engineers presented a chapter charter to the Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Student Chapter. The EKU Student chapter was formed in June, 2008 and is part of the EKU Fire and Safety Engineering Technology Program. The EKU Program was established in 1975. Areas of study include life safety; fire prevention, suppression and investigation, fire service administration; fire protection principles; industrial loss prevention; safety program management; and occupational safety and health.
