The Fire Suppression Systems Association (FSSA) Educational Foundation awards scholarships annually to talented and worthy young people within the fire suppression industry.
Eligibility... Any student or college bound individual is eligible to apply who is an employee or related to an employee of an FSSA member firm or a group affiliated with the fire suppression industry.
Scholarship candidates must have graduated from high school or its equivalent before July 1st of the year in which they will use the scholarship. Scholarships will only be awarded to students who will be participating in the fire protection program at either the University of Maryland or Oklahoma State University. Students already enrolled in one of these colleges are also eligible to apply.
There are no restrictions based upon the employment status or the sex, race, creed or nationality of the candidate.
