The New England Chapter (NEC) of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) will be kicking off the 2009-2010 chapter year in a big way with its first annual NEC-SFPE Golf Tournament. This event will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, MA.
All proceeds from this event will go to the A.L. Brown scholarship, which is awarded annually to New England students working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in an engineering discipline who are interested in pursuing a career in fire protection engineering. Over the past three years, $21,500 has been awarded in scholarships from this fund. Click here to find out more details about this event.
