Society of Fire Protection Engineers Launches 2010 Compensation Survey

Interested in learning about what fire protection engineers earn today? So are we! The SFPE Compensation Survey is now open until April 5th and we encourage all FPE’s to take 15 minutes (or less) to complete the survey. It is available at

This year’s survey is being conducted by a third party firm experienced in this type of work. We have added a number of enhancements that will allow us to better categorize an engineer by his or her experience/current role and how that relates to compensation levels.
