At its Annual SFPE Senate Meeting in New Orleans, LA, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) presented the 2010 Chapter Excellence Awards.
The SFPE Board of Directors established Chapter Excellence Awards in 2005 to recognize SFPE Chapters that demonstrated excellence in contributing to the needs of their members and the Society. Three levels of recognition are awarded -- Gold, Silver and Bronze.
The following SFPE Chapters received awards for 2010:
Gold -- The Central Savannah River Chapter, Chicago Chapter, Chesapeake Chapter, Tennessee Valley Chapter, New England Chapter, Greater Atlanta Chapter
Silver -- New York Metropolitan Chapter, Rocky Mountain Chapter, Saudi Arabia Chapter
Bronze -- New York Empire Chapter, Michigan Chapter, Hawaii Chapter, P.R. China Chapter, Swedish Chapter, Houston Chapter, St. Lawrence Chapter
SFPE President Robert Jönsson presents the Gold Award to members from the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) Chapter
SFPE President Robert Jönsson presents the Silver Award to members from the Rocky Mountain Chapter
SFPE President Robert Jönsson presents the Bronze Award to members from the Hawaii Chapter
