Left to Right: John Woycheese, Mark FerraresiThe Society of Fire Protection Engineers-Northern California/Nevada Chapter awarded their 2011 scholarship to Mark Ferraresi. This annual Scholarship is to encourage new interest in study leading to a career as an FPE. Mr. Ferraresi is an Eagle Scout from the bay area and will participate in the new FPE program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, working toward a Masters Degree.
The award was presented by John Woycheese, President, at the joint SFPE/NorCal Fire Prevention Officers meeting in San Francisco. Mr. Woycheese is also a previous recipient of the SFPE Scholarship. Local monthly SFPE meetings are open to all, and alternate between San Francisco and the East Bay.
